iZotope Nectar 3 Plus

iZotope Nectar 3 Plus is a previous version of iZotope’s vocal mixing plug-in, released in 2020 as the top edition of Nectar 3; the current version is iZotope Nectar 4 Advanced. It is a vocal channel strip with Vocal Assistant, pitch correction, EQ, compression, de-essing, harmony and effects, for singers and producers who mix vocals in a DAW. It runs on Windows 7 to 10 and on macOS 10.14 Mojave to 14 Sonoma.

iZotope Nectar 3 is a previous version

iZotope followed Nectar 3 with Nectar 4 in 2023. iZotope lists Nectar 3 Plus up to macOS 14 Sonoma and Windows 10, not for newer systems. Choose Nectar 4 Advanced for the Voices and Backer modules, Auto-Level and support for current macOS and Windows 11.

Nectar 3 vs Nectar 3 Plus

Nectar 3 Plus has everything in Nectar 3 (no longer sold) and adds Vocal Assistant Unmask, key detection in the Pitch module and RX 8 Breath Control in place of RX 7 Breath Control. Nectar 3 Elements has Vocal Assistant and macro controls only.

• Windows: Windows 7, 8 or 10
• macOS: 10.14 Mojave to 14 Sonoma (Ventura and Sonoma from version 3.9.0)
• Mac CPU: Intel or Apple silicon; native AU and VST3 from 3.7.0, native AAX from 3.9.0
• Formats: VST3, VST2, AU and AAX (VST2 runs only under Rosetta on Apple silicon); no standalone app, so it needs a host such as a DAW
