KORG TRITON is the KORG TRITON VST from KORG itself: a software recreation of the 1999 TRITON music workstation, with its HI synthesis, combis, effects and all eight EXB-PCM expansion boards. TRITON Extreme comes with it, so you get two instruments in one product. It is for producers and keyboard players who want the TRITON sound in a modern DAW, and it runs on Windows 11 and macOS 12 Monterey or higher as a standalone app or a VST3, AU or AAX plug-in.
What is the KORG TRITON VST?
KORG TRITON reproduces the TRITON’s HI (Hyper Integrated) synthesis system in software, supervised by the original TRITON developers. KORG sells it as KORG Collection TRITON; the current versions are TRITON 1.4.7 and TRITON Extreme 1.1.1. TRITON is also part of KORG Collection 6, KORG’s full collection of 20 products.
TRITON Extreme included
TRITON Extreme models the Valve Force vacuum-tube circuit of the TRITON Extreme and has most of its new PCM and EXB-PCM waveforms. It installs as its own instrument next to TRITON.
