Absynth 6 is Native Instruments’ semi-modular synthesizer for evolving textures, pads and soundscapes. It is for sound designers, composers and producers who want sounds that move and change over time. It runs as a VST3, AU or AAX plug-in on Windows 10 or 11 and macOS 14 or later, including Apple Silicon Macs.
What is Absynth 6?
Absynth 6 is the current version of Absynth, now at version 6.1. It replaced Absynth 5, which Native Instruments discontinued in 2022, and it was made with Absynth’s original developer, Brian Clevinger. Its hybrid engine combines granular, FM, wavetable and subtractive synthesis on three oscillator channels, and it opens every older Absynth patch.
