u-he Presswerk is a dynamics compressor plug-in with six special views (Easy, Vocal, Drum, Bus, M/S and Limiter), internal sidechain, parallel compression and saturation. It is for mix engineers and producers who want one compressor that goes from quick, simple settings to deep control. It runs in a host DAW as VST3, AU, AAX or CLAP on Windows 7 or newer and Mac OS X 10.10 or newer, including Apple silicon.

What is u-he Presswerk?

Presswerk is u-he’s compressor, now at version 1.1.6 (March 2025). It works in stereo or as two independent channels, with ratios from 1:1 to 20:1 and adjustable knee and linearity. It comes with over 100 factory presets for common compression tasks and is NKS-ready for Native Instruments’ Maschine and Komplete Kontrol hardware. Presswerk is also part of the u-he Everything Bundle.
