iZotope RX 12 Advanced

iZotope RX 12 Advanced is the current top edition of iZotope’s audio repair software: a standalone spectral audio editor with over 40 repair and editing modules, plus over 20 plug-ins for your DAW or video editor. It is for dialogue editors, post-production engineers, podcasters and music producers who need to remove noise, hum, clicks, reverb and bleed. It runs on Windows 10 or 11 and on macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Intel and Apple silicon Macs.

What is iZotope RX 12?

RX 12 is the latest version of iZotope RX, released in April 2026 and now at version 12.1.0. iZotope offers it in Elements, Standard and Advanced editions; Advanced is the most complete. The RX Audio Editor works on its own, and the RX plug-ins run inside a host such as a DAW or video editor.

• Scene Rebalance (Advanced only): splits film and TV scenes into dialogue, music and effects stems
• Stems view and Stem Split pane: split mixed audio into stems with Scene Rebalance, Music Rebalance or Dialogue Isolate, then edit and export them
• De-bleed rebuilt with machine learning, now also as a real-time plug-in
• Breath Control rebuilt with machine learning
• A new real-time Music Rebalance plug-in for vocals, bass, percussion and more
• Trim Silence (Advanced only): finds and deletes silent regions in long files

Advanced adds multichannel processing and the modules Ambience Match, Azimuth, Center Extract, De-rustle, De-wind, Deconstruct, Dialogue Contour, EQ Match, Leveler, Scene Rebalance, Spectral Recovery, Trim Silence and Wow & Flutter, plus high-quality and multi-band Dialogue Isolate. Elements has a small plug-in set: De-click, De-clip, De-hum, De-reverb, Repair Assistant and Voice De-noise.
