IK Multimedia MODO BASS 2

IK Multimedia MODO BASS 2 is IK’s physically modelled bass instrument: it generates 22 electric, fretless and double basses in real time with modal synthesis. It is for producers and songwriters who want bass parts they can shape in detail, from playing style and hand position to pickups, effects and amp. It runs on Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.13 or later as a standalone app or a 64-bit VST2, VST3, AU or AAX plug-in.

What is MODO BASS 2?

MODO BASS 2 models the player, strings, fretboard, body, pickups and electronics of each bass. It replaced the first MODO BASS in 2022 and added 8 new basses (6 electric, 2 of them fretless, and 2 double basses), fretless and 5- or 6-string conversion, and a new Patterns section.
